2005-2013 Mustang GT500 Style Brake Upgrade M-2300-S

Need more stopping power out of your 2005-2013 Mustang? The stock brakes are pretty good for an as-delivered Mustang, but throw on some bolt on performance or forced induction on one of these cars, and your brakes become lacking mighty quick! The M-2300-S  GT500 Style Brake Upgrade will have your eyeballs popping out of their sockets in no time!

Ford and Brembo teamed up to make this brake upgrade factory fit for the 2007-2012 Gt500 and now offer it as a kit for all 2005-2013 Mustang GT and V6  The end result is one that is very comprehensive and easy to install, while providing braking ability that’s untouchable for the price point. This direct bolt-on kit consists of 4 piston Brembo calipers, huge 14” brake rotors, beefed up Goodridge brake hoses,  and all of the necessary dust shields, hardware and front and rear brake pads.  All it requires is a few hours of your time, basic hand tools, and a buddy to help you bleed the brakes once installed.

These will require a minimum of an 18″ wheel to clear, like our SVE Drifts, and come standard in a gloss black finish with white Brembo script on the face. As  nice as these look, these are for Mustangs and in typical Mustang fashion, you’ve got to add your own custom touch to them.  One of our long time customers Mike Clay, who is also the event coordinator for Mustang Week, recently added his custom touch to a set he received from us for his 2012 Boss 302.  Shining bright behind our Silver SVE Drift wheels, he has custom painted his m-2300-s kit Gloss Race Red to match this gorgeous car. Check out the results, what a awesome Mustang!

If you put this brake kit on your Mustang, would you leave it be or would you paint the calipers? What color?  Lets hear some ideas!

this is the same as the factory brembo setup right? curious why a B302 would upgrade to what they already have.

^^ I was thinking the same. GT500 fronts should be the same as the Brembo pkg. Also, will you guys start carrying a GT500 rear brake pkg? Been looking everywhere for one with no luck.

@AndresGarcia1 These kits will bolt up to and work on all production 05-09 Mustangs. The only thing you have to be careful about is wheel selection. Be sure your wheels will clear the brakes. If you have any questions do not hesitate to call our sales staff.

Are you sure these only need an 18″ rim? I have the Brembo upgrade on my 2013 and the stock 18″ doesn’t fit which is why they come with 19″ rims.

On a side note, the silver rims on the car in the article are very nice!

Btw, James there are a few choice 18′s that will fit. Basically anything that would be a GT500 fitment would fit

Will this set up work with the stock 18″ that come on a 2011 Pony Package V6?
