Project Six Appeal: Stage 2

As some of our faithful blog readers have been following our recent 2011 Mustang V6 Blogs, you may have picked up on the fact that we recently aquiried a new 2011 Mustang 3.7L V6. We have named it Project: Six Appeal. We started with a teaser blog on the build up and this blog with show the first build day we had at the MCA Wild West Pony Show. Day one consisted of a complete tear down of the New 2011 Mustang V6 and then the installation of a Ford Racing Handling Pack, Ford Racing Brembo Front Brake Upgrade, Ford Racing Adjustable Rear Panhard Bar, SVE Heavy Duty Rear Lower Control Arms, Magnaflow Axle Back Kit, GT500 Rear Valance and a set of Ford Racing 19X9″ Boss 302 Laguna Seca Wheels wrapped in 275/35/19 Nitto NT555′s. You may say that seems like a lot of work in one day, but follow the blog and watch just how easy it is to transform a new 2011 Mustang V6 from stock to shock in a days work……

Project Six Appeal: Stage 1

As some of you know all of us Mustang nuts around here have caught a bit of V6 Mustang fever over the past couple of months. If you have followed our blogs so far, you’ve seen our rental 2011 Ford Mustang V6 3.7L on the track at Texas World Speedway, our install blogs on the BBK Cold Air Intake, our Dynolicious Blog all pushing the new Mustang V6 platform as far as we could and also the introduction to our latest project “Six Appeal”. I know some of you out there are still wondering why in the world we would choose a 2011 Mustang V6 as our new project car. Simple answer to that question, the cars are a blast to drive, they present an awesome 305HP 3.7L V6, the well known 8.8″ rear end with a traction-lok differential and dual exhaust with a true x-pipe from the factory! Not to mention they still have great looks and awesome fuel mileage to boot.
