Project High Impact, our Deep Impact Blue 2013 Mustang GT, has already made the transformation from stocker to potent street performer in its short term here at Latemodel Restoration. This quick recap will get you up to speed on the changes we’ve made so far.
All of us car enthusiasts have ran into this before. You buy that project car you always wanted and start working on it, one thing leads to another, and it loses steam and ends up getting pushed to the side only to collect dust and become a storage device. Many of you recall one of our project cars dubbed “Project Introvert”. Well….. one thing led to another, and we ended up neglecting it ourselves.
As everyone is seeing the new 2011 Ford Mustang 5.0L hit dealership showrooms and bolting on extra power with minimal parts, we got excited to get our hands on one and see what we could make happen. The owner of our company, Shannon Guderian, decided he wanted to build a street/road race car to replace the 2000 Cobra R at the track and what better platform could we ask for with a 2011 Mustang 5.0L at our fingertips. We started off with a Brembo package, Kona blue Mustang 5.0L and just a few parts ……. to get this project rolling………..
Quick update on the new 2013 Boss additions to Project High Impact. We added the 2013 Boss chin spoiler and grille.
As you saw from our install blog on the 2013 Boss Grille Kit, dressing up your 2013 Mustang can be relatively easy to do. To further add to the aggressive Boss look you can’t leave off the 2013 Boss Chin Spoiler. The installation on this chin spoiler doesn’t take much time at all!
